We’re proud to say that we have posted over 1,000 articles over the past 3 years, showcased thousands of events and now boast an online business directory of over 1,800 black owned businesses in Canada.
Our Unique Visitors continues to hover between 6,000 to 10,000 monthly, and our social media channels experience weekly growth.
Positivity is infectious. Unlike some ethnic media houses, we don’t believe in only covering people, events or businesses who can afford advertising. We’re not a pay for play magazine, instead we focus on Black people doing cool and amazing things in Canada.
We’re independently owned and operated, and provide a platform that over 50 writers contribute to.
In 2015 we forged a relationship with Huffington Post Canada that allows some of our writers to be featured simultaneously on both platforms.
As we grow, we continue to give back to the community that supports us. To assist non-profit/charitable organizations in Canada, we offer a 75% discount off our standard advertising rates. This allows non-profit access to affordable advertising and promotional support for their events and fundraising campaigns.
As we head into our 4th year, we are welcoming even more writers and contributors. We are also excited about new developments that will provide financial benefits to Black business owners in Canada.
