Delta Family Resource Centre (Delta Family) is a non-profit and community-based agency which, since 1981, has consistently delivered a range of targeted services to isolated and marginalized communities in Northwest Toronto.  With seven satellite locations and a staff of 60 qualified professionals, Delta Family has recognized for its commitment to building communities where all people thrive, for equipping residents with the tools they need to do so, for modeling effective collaboration, and for developing programs, which respond to community needs. Delta Family provides support to parents, children, youth, seniors, and Black communities, and has introduced a number of innovative programs and activities that meet the ever-evolving needs of the diverse communities it engages and serves.

We are proud to announce we have been accredited!

Delta Family is proud to announce its recent accreditation with Imagine Canada, demonstrating its commitment to the highest level of accountability, governance, transparency, and service. Imagine Canada is a national charitable organization with the mission of strengthening Canadian charities and non-profits to better serve individuals and communities. Earning the Accredited Trustmark though the Imagine Canada-Standards Program is a public demonstration of credibility, excellence, and transparency.

“Created by the sector for the sector, the Standards Program is the only national accreditation program that is designed for all Canadian charities and nonprofits. To earn the accreditation, organizations must demonstrate excellence in five fundamental areas: board governance; financial accountability and transparency; fundraising; staff management; and volunteer involvement.” (Imagine Canada, Standards Program).
