Founded in 2020, BIPOC Foundation announced its official launch in February 2022 as part of a multi-million dollar federal economic development investment to advance 400 businesses over three years through free offerings for Western Canada’s fastest-growing population. We are here to help you find the right program, connect you with our network, and match you with an expert advisor to assist you with the challenges that your business is experiencing.

Lethbridge organization supporting Black-led business
We’re thrilled to share a milestone moment for the BIPOC Foundation! At this year’s Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Awards 2022, we were honored with a first-of-its-kind Recognition in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Entrepreneurship. Our Co-Founder, Sinmi Adeoye-Esene, expressed heartfelt thanks to the Chamber leadership, RINSA, our Funders PrairiesCan, Advisors, Team, and other Ecosystem Partners, saying, “We are solving complex challenges… we power opportunity, equity, creators, learning, communication, and we play to win.” Clement, our Executive Director, also extended gratitude to all the business leaders present for their dedication to an equitable entrepreneurship ecosystem.
