Taste the Caribbean

We're open for takeout!

Being from the Caribbean, I missed the meals my family would make, so I kept the tradition alive at my restaurant.

  • 5 star review  We traveled from Mission to Surrey in search of a great Jamaican Patty! We seriously were not disappointed! These are as close as you are ever going to find, (around here), likening to the Juicy Patties that are made in Jamaica. "I think," They are baked instead of fried but the flavours are absolutely spot on. We tried the chicken and the spicy beef, and then bought more! Great find, I will definitely be stopping in again some time soon! Staff are Super friendly and inviting. Can't wait for my journeys to put back through that part of town so I may stock up again!

  • 5 star review  Amazing spot. Since moving here from Calgary it's been hard to find a good Jamaican restaurant. I've been to a few other spots in town but they just don't compare to this place. Anytime I need my jerk or patty fix they got me. Also they do ackee and sol fish !!!

  • 5 star review  Excellent food and service by Di Reggae. The owners were warm and humble. The atmosphere was great. Makes you feel like you are in the Caribbean. Definitely recommend going there for authentic jerk chicken.

  • 4 star review  What great food! My wife and stopped by because of the terrific smells and ended up picking up our takeout meal for the night! We were only going to have a Jamaican pattie each (mild) and ended up having two each. After checking out the menu board, I settled on the Beef Stew and she had the Pulled Pork. Lots of of meat and the spice was in the rice! Lol For a drop-in, the Di Reggae Cafe was a great surprise. We will definitely be back and likely work our way through the menu!

  • 4 star review  This one was a tough one to review. Unfortunately I came in on a Sunday, which is their brunch day. The food on that day is usually on for Sundays. I had the brunch menu with fish and chicken. My friend had the jerk chicken and rice. The food was a solid 7 out of 10. Wholesome and homemade feel to it. The setting was comfortable and reminiscent of the islands. The service was kind and warm. Definitely a great place if you haven’t had home cooked food in a while.
