Since 2013, the world has been commemorating July 30 as World Day against Trafficking in Persons. This year's theme is “Victims' Voices Lead the Way.” Rhonelle Bruder of Project iRISE succinctly explains the theme, "It's about listening to people who have experienced human trafficking and giving them a voice. It's also about creating a program, curriculum, and policies based on their insight.”
