Bobbie Taffe is an emerging independent producer with interests in documentary and dramatic film production. A graduate of the Galiano Island Film and Television School (2002), and Centennial College’s Independent Television Producers Program (2006), Bobbie has been actively working in the Canadian Film and Television Industry for a little less than a decade. Following a successful producer’s internship with the National Film Board of Canada’s Pacific Centre, Bobie went on to work as a regional liaison for the National Film Board’s social justice e-zine Citizen Shift, and as a Production Manager for the 2004 Reel Diversity documentary In Between the Laughter
. Her production company Taffe Entertainment aims to produce documentaries, dramatic series and lifestyle programs that focus on exploring issues of race, sexuality, self-image, multiculturalism and social justice.
