Vanessa Magic is an award-winning Toronto costume designer, writer/director. Vanessa Magic is a freelance writer of Jamaican-mixed heritage. Vanessa fell deeply in love with writing when won a poetry contest at the age of 8. She has contributed written content to CBC Parents, CBC Kids, Now Magazine, Eye Magazine, Broken Pencil, and Bespoke. Currently, she is in development with CBC to create an Afrofuturist kids science show
