ELLA COOPER is Black Canadian an award winning cultural leader. She is a passionate educator and group facilitator in addition to being a photo-video artist, impact producer and founder of Black Women Film! Canada. Working in the arts and culture sector now for over 19 years, Ella is known for creating transformative leadership programs and creative workshops. Her multidisciplinary arts practice explores the diaspora, positive representations of the Black body in Canada, equity and arts for social change, community storytelling, contemporary dance, oral traditions and hybrid identity. Her work as been featured at the AGO, has gone viral on CBC Arts and shown in galleries and festival across Canada, United States and Europe.
