Kanika Ambrose is a playwright, librettist, screenwriter and Associate Artistic Director of Necessary Angel Theatre Company. She has been a playwright-in-residence at Obsidian Theatre Company, Cahoots Theatre, and is in residence at Canadian Film Centre’s Bell Media Primetime TV Program. She was also featured as one of 'Cahoots Theatre's 30 for 30 theatre-makers, solidifying herself as a significant figure who will shape the next 30 years in Canadian theatre.
