The Black Legal Action Centre (BLAC) is a Black-owned Canadian based not-for-profit corporation that was incorporated under the laws of Ontario in 2017. BLAC delivers legal aid services to Black Ontarians. Specifically, BLAC works to combat individual and systemic anti-Black racism by providing legal representation; engaging in test case litigation, law reform, and community development; and delivering summary legal advice, brief services, and public legal education. The clinic's scope of operations and services will be developed through community consultations in early 2018.
