Ifarada: Centre for Excellence is a Black-Owned Canadian non-profit organization that provides group therapeutic and mentorship programs for Black youth, families and adults in the Durham Region and Scarborough East Neighborhoods. The programs offered are Afrocentric, Indigenous, and culturally-based focused. Ifarada provides groups for youth aged 8 years to 24 such as: Wonderfully Made, Nia Gwenda and Girls who Lead, as well as sports engagement & leadership training programs such as Adrinkehene Youth Group. Ifarada Centre also provides mentorship programs for youth emerging into the education and employment workforce with adults in the same field of interest, and girls mentorship programs for older young women with younger girls (6-14).
