About the Culinary

program

Our Culinary Arts Program is a dynamic 4-week course that takes place Monday – Thursday from 10am-4pm. It is designed for young adults aged 18 to 29. Participants will gain hands-on kitchen experience alongside theoretical instruction from our expert chef. Upon completing the 4-week program, participants will embark on a 120-hour work placement with an external organization, providing real-world culinary experience and skill development

Participants will receive their food handling certificate, smart serve, and much more. Students help prepare meals for our after-school programs, our weekly grocery pick up, and other programs at different agencies. Students also help prepare food for our catering business, and in some cases, they take part in serving at events across the GTA.
