The Canadian Blk Women in Excellence Society (BWIE) is an award-winning nonprofit organization founded in 2020, dedicated to empowering Black and Brown women and youth across Canada through entrepreneurship, mentorship, and community engagement. Based in Alberta, BWIE supports economic growth and equitable opportunities by offering programs like the 24-week EmpowerHer SEB, the Thrive in Black Initiative, and the BWIE Wealth Network. With over 500 entrepreneurs supported and a 100% business registration success rate among program participants, BWIE is creating lasting impact by fostering business development, financial literacy, and community leadership.
