Director Employee & Labour Relations

City of Toronto Director Employee & Labour Relations   Reporting to the Chief People Officer​,​ the Director, Employee and Labour Relations​ is responsible​ for leading, strategizing, developing and elevating all aspects of the City’s employee and labour ​relations ​function including the grievance, mediation, arbitration and bargaining ​processes​. Leading a highly effective team of labour relations practitioners, you will develop and implement the labour relations and collective bargaining strategy, framework, program and initiatives​,​and you will partner with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the City’s mission, priorities and strategic goals are met. Drawing on your previous experience and passion, you will promote and deliver a proactive and highly collaborative labour relations​ environment where collective agreements are interpreted and consistently applied across the City.
