A comprehensive resource where parents and students, 11 – 30 years old can find the right information on achieving career success.
Our mission is to help our youths understand the importance of education and the opportunities it attracts, and to empower them with the practical experience and validation they need to make the right career choices.
Higher Educational Attainment Is Associated With Higher Wages
A disturbing statistic from a recent study conducted in 2023 and released by Statistics Canada showed that compared with the non-racialized Canadian population, all the Canadian-Black populations were less likely to have a full-time (full-year) job and/or more likely to work in lower-level occupations as a result of their educational attainment.
Further studies in the past have also shown that only 23 percent of children of Latin American & Caribbean descent in Canada go on to tertiary education.
This calls for an immediate intervention to enlighten our young ones on the importance of education and making the right career choices if we hope to change the disadvantaged position of the Canadian-Black community in the nearest future.
