Grace is a forward-thinking Conservative with impeccable integrity and proven accountability displayed through 20 years of dedication towards public services in multiple domains including employment, education, advocacy, community development, and social policy. She is committed to serving her constituents and her country.  As a candidate, she is focused on working to achieve the changes required to strengthen her community.  She has conducted extensive outreach, participated in town hall meetings, and identified core issues facing community members. In her work, she has liaised with decision-makers in education, social services, community service providers, advocacy groups and non-governmental agencies. Grace has served as the Vice President then President of CUPE Local 2222 & Local 2221-1 since (2017). In this role she has participated in grievance handling, conflict and dispute resolution processes as well as ensured accurate interpretation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.  Her cumulative professional experience spans across the financial and human services sector such as the London Stock Exchange and social services both in Canada and abroad. Grace is a mother of a teenager and when she’s not working at her day job as an administrator, she is attending advocacy and outreach events or working on Union related issues. Her heart and home have been in the Mississauga East-Cooksville community for the past 20 years. It would be a great honour to represent friends and neighbours in one of the best and most forward-thinking communities and to further its prosperity and vibrant development.
