WHO WE ARE
Serving York Region and the GTA, DOAHL Academy provides a family friendly environment where all dancers are welcome. We train our students to dance with passion, purpose and a high level of skill.
We provide a full dance curriculum for dancers age 3 and up looking to make dance as a career, and for those who simply want to enjoy the art of dance, learn new skills, and make life-long friendships. We cultivate community and share culture through dance. Don’t just learn to dance. Dance with passion. DANCE ON A HIGHER LEVEL.
DOAHL KINDERDANCE PROGRAM
LITTLE ONES BEGIN HERE!
DOAHL Dance Academy offers dance for your little ones too. Our Kinderdance program for students ages 3 - 5 yrs old, is a fun, interactive, energetic, friendly environment, that fosters confidents, connecting with others and making new friends.
Style we offer this age group are Ballet, Hip Hop and Afro Caribbean dance. All recreational students perform at our annual year end recital as students take the opportunity to showcase their hard work and talent.

DOAHL Dance Academy offers something for everyone. We accept students ages 3 & up. Our recreational classes are divided by age. After an early period of observation, our faculty may recommend a change of level to ensure dancers are being challenged.
Our recreational program offers a fun, positive, energetic environmentwhile building technical skill, confidence, connecting with others, and making new friends. All recreational students perform in our annual year end recital.

COMPETITIVE PROGRAM
READY TO TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL?
Our competitive program is for students ages 5 to 17 who are serious about their dance training. Our competitive team is auditioned and selected by our teaching faculty.
This program requires several hours of technical training per week and participation in competitions, competitive showcases and community events.
As ambassadors for dance in York Region and DOAHL Dance Academy, these students have an opportunity to receive focused attention in their dance training and exposure to the professional dance world.
All competitive dancers are required to take Acrobatic Arts and Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) training and examinations.
