Had an amazing and productive meeting with the folks of @openarchtoronto today. Plans are in order in helping the dream come alive of creating a space to celebrate the legacy and culture of those of Afro-Caribbean decent.

Black Canadians have made a tremendous contribution to this country over the past 400 years. It is overdue that we have a space that celebrates our accomplishments, our culture and provides support for an uplifting future.

So exciting to be working on this ...project with this talented group of people that will help design and create a beautiful structure.
