Toronto Caribbean Carnival Draws One Million Spectators

16,000 revellers paraded down the Lakeshore in the 49th annual Toronto Caribbean Carnival Festival.

An estimated one million people came out to catch the colourful display. The unpopular fences were lowered to four feet but most spectators would prefer to see them elimintaed altogether. But that couldn't spoil the spirit of the ultimate street party. ByBlacks photographer Jeff D. King was on the scene, and submitted enough photos to last you til next year. Check them out below. And if you were jumping up, tweet us a pic of you and your crew in costume!
