Ayiba Magazine is pleased to announce its annual celebration of African music, art, fashion, and culture: Mystique Afrique in Toronto.
This year, our multisensorial event is curated to give guests a taste and feel of Africa in the 70s with our Iconic Africa theme honoring legends like Fela Kuti, Miriam Makeba, Mohammed Ali, who led revolutions through creativity, art, and self-expression.
Mystique Afrique 2018 will take place Saturday, September 29th, 2018 and features Afro-Canadian talents including rising fashion designer, Zoba Martin, as well as commissioned works by international artists: Natasha Lisa and Adekunle Adeleke.
"We're thrilled to partner with a luxury international brand like Vlisco, as well as Black-owned Canadian brands, to curate a space for African and Caribbean artistic expression during Toronto's foremost art event, Nuit Blanche." says Eyitemi Popo, founder of Ayiba Magazine.
Join Ayiba Magazine for an intimate evening of live music, signature cocktails, authentic bites, art, fashion, and culture within a creatively immersive experience that will transport you to a dream tropical destination for one magical night, while learning about a period in Africa’s history of pan-African unity, cultural revival, and political revolution.
