    First, I have to highlight that after losing almost 100lbs, 14 years ago, I still struggle with the desire to run to food for comfort. Sadly, that battle hasn't gone away. And while it's managed well, when really intense events like this come up, I feel strong urges to turn to food for healing. Copious amounts of food.

    I’ve lived my life on the road as a full-time nomad for 3 years, so I am no stranger to staying healthy while indoors. For years, I’ve worked from home running my business online while traveling the world.  Staying fit without equipment is my norm; hotel rooms and Airbnbs have been my “gym” for as long as I can remember. Staying healthy in unfamiliar times may not come naturally to most, so I’m here to assure you that maintaining (and even elevating) your wellness journey, while in quarantine, is completely possible!

    It’s February, and many of us have lost sight of the resolutions set just 1 month ago. In fact, 80% of new year's resolutions fail, and 55% percent of people that set wellness goals fall off the wagon within the first month!

    I lost 90lbs as a result of a New Year's Resolution, and against all odds, I’ve kept this weight off for over 14 years! Prior to this, I had tried every diet under the sun (twice). But this time, I was determined to approach my wellness journey with a different tone as the extreme attempts hadn’t served me in the past.

    I've been researching the habits of highly effective (purpose-driven) people and one thing that stood out was this: no one had a perfect ride to their "successful" moment or story.
