Talking To Your Children About Race

A few weeks ago I came face to face with racism in a way I never had before.

It started off as a case of road rage on the part of a careless driver who nearly backed right into my car, and turned into a racist filled rant that really caught me off guard.

My children witnessed it all, forcing me to have a conversation with them that I didn’t necessarily know how to approach. My two boys are aged 6 and 8.

So, I decided to sit down with Keitiaunna Howard, founder of Successful Single Moms to discuss how to talk to our children about racism.

Keitiaunna Howard is the founder Successful Single Moms.  She is a sought out mom of 2 kids to speak on issues pertaining to single moms and pertinent issues in the Black community.
