Artist Bio

Carel Kabamba is a Congolese multi-creative based in Toronto, Ontario. A one-of-one artist: illustrator, animator, but best known for her work as a video editor and content manager. She excels in, among others, highlighting videos on art, beauty, health and lifestyle. 

With her video editing skills, she has been able to grow to thousands through social media. This is found on various platforms under the username @carelenna, she shares her craftsmanship and other inventive pieces on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. 

With a passion for creativity, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Specialization in Animation and Video Editing and a Minor in Entrepreneurship. 

She hopes to continue sharing her aptitudes within the creative industry. With the love she has for the arts, her goal is to remind those around her that creativity is limitless. She wants to be a living source of inspiration that utilizing one's artistic lens will only further benefit them. 

Melanin Coloring Book

I've created a 15 page coloring book with positive messages and overall celebrating black culture. This book is all about representation as it shows natural hair, protective styling like braids, hijabs, durags and so much more. It is available in the shop section of my website for $25 CAD.
