Parents of Black Children (PoBC) is a Black-owned Canadian non-profit advocacy group formed to support and advocate on behalf of Black students and their parents. Black Children works to address and dismantle anti-Black racism and systemic barriers within the education and adjacent systems. The goal is to ensure that Black children are able to access an equitable and peaceful education. Contact Parents of Black Children for advocacy and systems navigation support in education or child welfare (CHILDREN's AID SOCIETIES). We stand beside parents, attend meetings with you at schools, contact school administration and school boards on your behalf, connect you with third-party supports, including legal supports, and provide advice and support as you navigate the education and child welfare systems.
