This year, Obsidian Theatre is bringing you FOUR bold productions that celebrate the richness and diversity of Black stories! From a subversive queer coming-of-age story in the American South, to the journey of two brothers in a Nigerian fishing town, an intimate portrait of a Black family in Toronto, and the vibrant community inside a Harlem hair braiding salon. These are stories that will make you laugh, think, and leave a lasting impression. We can't wait to welcome you to the theatre!
