A black-and-gold promotional poster for the “Elevate Noir Gala: The Black Dream.” The design features portraits of Black adults in formal attire, including speakers, performers, and guests, arranged around the central text. A nighttime Toronto skyline with the CN Tower appears in the background. Gold ornamental patterns, glowing accents, and metallic borders frame the poster. The center announces the event date, location, and schedule: November 7, 2026, at Belmont Event Space in Toronto, from 5:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Feature panels list a luxury Black business marketplace, powerful speakers, a curated dinner, live musical performances, a fashion show, networking, a silent and live auction, and a luxury after party. The lower portion includes additional performer portraits, ticket information, the formal black-and-brown dress code, sponsor and presenter logos, and a row of gold keywords.

The Black Dream: We’ve Been Building Anyway

Toronto has Black talent. Black businesses. Black artists, entrepreneurs, educators, creatives and visionaries.

What we haven’t always had is equal access—to funding, opportunities, networks, mentorship and resources.

Yet somehow, we keep building.

Elevate Noir Gala, centered around the theme “The Black Dream,” was created to bring Toronto’s Black community together to celebrate what we’ve built, talk honestly about what still needs to change, and connect the people who can help each other move forward.

Let’s be real: racism doesn’t always look like someone openly telling you that you don’t belong. Sometimes it’s being overlooked, having your qualifications questioned, being the only Black person in the room, or watching opportunities repeatedly go to people with connections you were never given access to.

We’re constantly told we’re “full of potential.” But potential doesn’t fund a business or create opportunity.

We deserve access, not just applause.

And Toronto has incredible people who can help make that access possible.

Artists. Entrepreneurs. Speakers. Mental health professionals. Creatives. Community leaders. People who have figured something out and can help someone else avoid the same struggle.

What happens when we actually share that knowledge?

When entrepreneurs support entrepreneurs? When creatives collaborate? When successful professionals open their networks? When we invest in each other instead of competing for the same small piece of the pie?

That’s community power.

The Black Dream looks different for everyone. Maybe it’s owning a business. Buying a home. Building generational wealth. Becoming an artist. Healing. Creating a better life for your children. Or simply becoming the person your younger self dreamed you could be.

Elevate Noir is about creating the room where those dreams can connect.

We’ll celebrate. We’ll network. We’ll laugh. We’ll eat good food. We’ll look good doing it.

But we’ll also have the conversations that matter.

Because we’ve been underestimated, overlooked and told “no” before.

And we’ve been building anyway.

Toronto has the talent. Toronto has the vision. Toronto has the people.

Now let’s put them in the same room.

Join us on Saturday November 7, 2026 at Belmont Event Space located in Delta Hotels at Dixon/401 in Toronto.
