Nominations are open for the Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards presented by Western Union!
Is there an inspiring immigrant deserving of recognition that you know? Do they have a story that should be heard and honoured across Canada? Canadian Immigrant along with presenting sponsor Western Union is calling on all Canadians to nominate these extraordinary immigrants for the 18th annual Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards, Canada's only national awards for immigrant recognition.
How to nominate & deadline
To nominate, go online to canadianimmigrant.ca/canadas-top-25-immigrants/. Fill out the simple form with as much detail about the nominee's contributions and accomplishments as possible. Deadline for nominations is March 6, 2026, 11:59 pm EST.
Who can be nominated for Top 25?
A nominee can be anyone who has permanently immigrated to Canada and has since contributed to the success and uplifting of this country and/or its people. Achievements can be either professional or personal. Nominees must be landed immigrants (permanent residents or citizens) and reside in Canada.
How are winners chosen?
A distinguished panel of judges will review all nominees and present a list of 75 finalists who will be profiled online in April, after which all Canadians can vote for their favourite nominees. After tabulation of the votes and a second round of judging, the 25 winners will then be announced in August 2026.
