ZAYO, an Afrofusion dance-theatre production by Esie Mensah Creations, is returning to the Toronto stage this March! ZAYO is an embodied hero’s journey where ancestral wisdom, inner trials, and spiritual memory guide “The Chosen” toward her future self.
Created over eight years, ZAYO asks the ultimate question: What are we willing to sacrifice in order to become our future selves?
Through a thrilling blend of choreographic depth and ritual, this work explores the courage required to step fully into who you are meant to become. This March, experience a story of perseverance, surrender, and transformation.
