For seven delicious days, from Monday, May 11 to Sunday, May 17, 2026, participating businesses across Canada will offer either a Prix Fixe menu or a $10 special (discounted by 25%) to give food lovers an incredible opportunity to explore and support Black culinary excellence.

Downtown Toronto is bringing the heat this year with seven Black-owned restaurants and caterers participating, from the Danforth to St. Clair, Augusta Avenue to King Street. Caribbean, Nigerian, fusion, and more: this is the full range of what Black culinary creativity looks like in Canada's biggest city.

You know Carib Dish as a Barrie hot spot, but now they’ve opened a second location in downtown Toronto on St. Clair Avenue specializing in that same authentic Caribbean cuisine. They know how to deliver comfort and flavour in every plate.

Greelz on Augusta, Toronto, ON (Kensington Market)

Greelz Apege Burger

Greelz is a Black-owned Toronto restaurant specializing in Nigerian and fusion cuisine, and their Augusta Avenue location sits right in the heart of one of the city's most vibrant neighbourhoods. This is where West African tradition meets Toronto street energy, and the result is exciting.

SugarKane Caribbean & Cajun Cuisine delivers a mouth-watering taste of the Caribbean with a big twist. Bold, sweet spices from the Caribbean fused with a spicy Cajun kick. This is one of Toronto's most exciting flavour combinations, all under one roof.
