Customer Success Representative

ByBlacks.com Inc. is seeking a Customer Success Representative to join our growing team.

 

The Customer Success Representative ensures that our readers, clients, and stakeholders have the best experience in their communications with ByBlacks.com, following industry best practices.



Reporting to the Customer Success Supervisor, this position provides opportunities to learn various cutting-edge software utilized throughout the organization, including, but not limited to:


  • Accounting software - for invoicing clients
  • Content Management System (CMS) - for updating the website
  • Customer Relationship Management - for managing client interactions
  • Internal Communications software - to manage team messaging
  • Newsletter – for distributing info for ByBlacks.com and our clients
  • Social Media management software – for promoting Byblacks.com and our clients on our social media platforms


RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Communicate with clients via email and video conferencing
  • Send invoices via our accounting software
  • Ensure that clients’ promotional services are delivered in a timely manner
  • Follow up on accounts receivable
  • Create and schedule newsletters for ByBlacks.com and clients
  • Coordinate client social media promotional posts with team members
  • Add job postings for clients
  • Assist Black Canadian Artists, Authors, Business owners, Filmmakers, and Politicians with adding/updating their directory listings
  • Other duties as assigned

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


The ideal candidate:

  • Is tech-savvy, with an above-average level of computer literacy with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Enjoys interacting with people in the pursuit of providing excellent customer service.
  • Has a good understanding of social media marketing
  • Familiarity with Black-owned Canadian businesses is an asset.
  • Having prior experience in a comparable role or industry is a major asset.
  • Current enrollment in communications, marketing, or business administration College/University program is an asset.


Pay Rate: 


$17.50 per hour; minimum twenty hours weekly.


Location: 


Work duties are performed remotely.
