2026 PCA Nominations Open Next Month!

The 2026 People's Choice Awards are almost here!

Starting October 1, you get to nominate the people, businesses, and creators making an impact in Black Canadian communities this year, the ones who've earned recognition for what they've built and who they've shown up for.

Who can be nominated?

Individuals like artists, business owners, professionals, and personalities, along with creative work and businesses across 20 categories, think authors, books, films, and restaurants. If they're doing great work in Black Canadian communities, they're worth putting forward.

Who's eligible?

Nominees must self-identify as Black Canadian, and the businesses must be majority Black Canadian owned. They'll also need an active, valid listing on the ByBlacks.com directory to qualify.

If you don't have a listing, please email [email protected] to make a request.

How to nominate?

You can submit one nomination per category listed in the ByBlacks.com directory, with a limit of one nomination per day. You can't nominate the same person more than once, but self-nominations are more than welcome.

This is your moment to speak up for them. Let's go.
