ELIGIBILITY

To be nominated, an artist, business, professional or personality must self-identify as Black Canadian, and their business must be majority Black Canadian owned.

Individuals can only nominate one person per the ByBlacks.com directory category. 

To qualify, business owners and professionals must have a valid listing on the ByBlacks.com directory.

TIMELINES

The nomination window will be open from October 1 to 31st annually. Self-nominations are allowed.

The voting window will be open from December 1 to 31st annually. Each individual can vote once per day, per category.

Winners will be announced on ByBlacks.com on February 1 annually in the following year.

AWARD RECEIPT

Award plaques will be shipped directly to recipients by mail.

Winners will also receive digital badges that can be used online.

$20,000 in promotional services for the finalist with the most votes offered by ByBlacks.com for one year from February 17 to February 16

$10,000 in promotional services for the finalist with the second most votes offered by ByBlacks.com for one year from February 17 to February 16

$5,000 in promotional services for the finalist with the thrid most votes offered by ByBlacks.com for one year from February 17 to February 16

50% discount on any promotional services offered by ByBlacks.com for one year from February 17 to February 16. This discount cannot be combined with any other promotions.

Winners get a lifetime discount of 10% on all promotional services.

Digital category badge added by our team to the award recipient’s directory listing (if applicable).
