Who is behind ByBlacks.com?
Husband and wife team Roger and Camille Dundas are the co-founders of ByBlacks.com. But the website is a giant force powered by dozens of Black Canadian writers, contributors and experts.
ByBlacks.com was founded in February 2013, profiling stories of interest to the Black Canadian community and highlighting the success of Black Canadians, something they feel is left out by the mainstream media.
They live by the mantra “Everyday excellence”, and are seeking out examples of this everywhere they go.
They are very proud to have received:
- a special certificate of commendation from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in 2017, celebrating ByBlacks.com five year anniversary
- the 2017 Innovation Award from the Canadian Ethnic Media Association
