Celeste is a writing chameleon and community leader who is highly invested in creating opportunities for marginalized communities to flourish. As a writer whose bylines have been featured on platforms like EARMILK, SHIFTER Magazine, and ADVANCE Canada, Celeste is dedicated to telling stories with authenticity and credibility that shine a light on the unique strengths and histories of the Black diaspora.

Celeste's personal and professional work has revolved around advancing economic and social opportunities for BIPOC youth. She has spent the last decade in a number of community-building capacities – from leading programs for newcomers to Canada, to planning civic engagement events, to supporting business owners in Haiti and Subsaharan Africa. Celeste balances most of her time between her charity, Sacraspice, which leads intergenerational cooking workshops for youth, and freelancing as a writer, videographer, and photographer.
