Stanley Wany ^New!

Stanley Wany, an Afro-Canadian artist from Montreal, now based in Canada's capital region, works across graphic novels, pen and ink drawings, and paintings. His art has been showcased internationally, including in Australia, Canada, the U.S., and Europe, and has been featured in private and public collections. His debut graphic novel, Agalma, was a 2016 Doug Wright Award nominee for experimental comics. Wany has participated in festivals worldwide and completed an artist residency in Finland. A graduate of Université du Québec en Outaouais, he explores experiences of African descent in Western culture through his comics and visual art.
