Letitia Fraser ^New!

Angela Bowden, an African Nova Scotian poet, author, and activist, explores systemic racism in Nova Scotia through her work, including her poetry book UnSpoken Truth. A descendant of Black Loyalists, Angela advocates for self-love, empowerment, and healing. Letitia Fraser, a Halifax-based artist and NSCAD graduate, draws inspiration from her North Preston heritage and family quilting traditions. Her paintings and textiles have been exhibited widely, earning awards like the RBC Emerging Artist Award and recognition as a Sobey Art Award longlist finalist.
