SIMKHA

SIMKHA, which means joy and happiness in Hebrew, is a Canadian brand that specializes in natural and vegan cosmetic products. Muriel Christel Koucoi is the founder of SIMKHA. A trained medical biologist and epidemiologist, she is also a mother passionate about natural skin care. Her son Lorenzo's sensitive skin concerns led her to turn to natural skincare solutions. As she struggled to find satisfaction in the existing offering, she took inspiration from her mom homemade recipes. This transmission of ancestral know-how between mother and daughter, added to her studies in chemistry, allowed her to successfully create her first line of body butters. She started receiving recurrent orders from her relatives, friends and acquaintances, and then decided to start her own skincare brand. This is how she founded SIMKHA in 2018.
