The HopeWorks Connection (HWC)

HopeWorks Connection Inc. is a Toronto-based charity founded in 2001 by Rev. Denise Gillard. It empowers youth aged 7–18—especially Black and Afro-Caribbean—through a holistic blend of performing arts (singing, dance, drumming) and academic support. Its flagship program, TC3 (Toronto Children’s Concert Choir & Performing Arts Company), along with virtual initiatives like “150 Voices,” fosters confidence, cultural pride, and academic growth via workshops, concerts, homework help, and national/international tours .
