Natacha Pennycooke Psychotherapy Services
Hi there! I'm Natacha Pennycooke a Registered Psychotherapist, with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CRPO). I have a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from The University of the West Indies (CaveHill). In my practice as a psychotherapist, speaker and consultant, I help high acheiving women and men struggling with self-doubt from trauma, anxiety and depression, to heal, thrive and live the life they deserve. My work is guided from an anti-oppressive, healing focused, trauma informed and anti-Black racism lens, to unpack and challenge Euro-centric practices, systemic oppression and generational traumas that have been detrimental to racialized communities. In my over 10 years as a psychotherapist, I have learnt to take my hardest experiences and turn them into opportunities for growth. I have discovered that all humans have a desire to be loved, appreciated, valued, accepted and understood. But sometimes our life experiences and different types of trauma can lead to fear, self-doubt and nervousness. I have presented at a number of international and national psychological conferences; and, I have been sought after for my expertise on mental health, trauma and healing to speak at various community and corporate events across the Toronto Area, Canada and the world. I am a founding member and current vice-chair of the Association of Black Psychologists - Toronto Chapter (ABPsi-TO), the mental health advisor of Keep6ix Organization, and a member of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA). After we work together, whether throught individual psychotherapy, corporate workshops, clinical consultation or community support, you will be able to understand the source of your fears, recognize the warning signs and challenge yourself to become comfortable with the uncomfortable. Are YOU ready to begin YOUR HEALING JOURNEY?
