Jay Douglas

Jay Douglas is a celebrated Jamaican-Canadian singer, bandleader, and music producer based in Toronto. With a career spanning over six decades—including fronting 1960s funk band The Cougars—he’s a three-time Juno nominee and a key figure in Toronto’s reggae, soul, jazz, and blues scenes. Douglas continues to perform at major festivals, venues, and cruise events worldwide.
