Sankofa Arts and Music Foundation

Sankofa Arts & Music Foundation (Sankofa YYC) is a Calgary‑based non‑profit empowering Black and diverse youth through arts, culture, mentorship, and social support. Guided by the Ghanaian Proverb "Sankofa"—to learn from the past—they offer programs in music, dance, painting, videography, issue‑based workshops, a summer leadership camp, and the signature “BlackGrad” graduation celebration for Black students.
