Canada's Black Music Business Collective (ADVANCE)

Canada's Black Music Business Collective is a new non-profit organization that will work to provide a unified voice and create long-term conditions for the success of Black people working in Canada's music industry. The newly launched ADVACNCE aims to develop an "infrastructure for the betterment, upliftment and retention of Black people in the music business." As noted on the organization's website, ADVANCE will develop this infrastructure through addressing racial equality and inclusivity with regards to industry advocacy, mentorship, community outreach and business development and entrepreneurship.
