IN PICTURES: Reggae Phenom Chronixx Gives Free Concert In Toronto Featured

Born Jamar McNaughton, Chronixx, whose music has been branded as "reggae revival", is Jamaica’s most-buzzed-about new artist right now.

After topping the Billboard Charts and recording a slew of hits over the last few years including “They Don’t Know”, "Here Comes Trouble” and the anthemic Smile Jamaica  - which won the Best Song award at the International Reggae and World Music Awards - this phenom is really just getting started. He gave a free concert in the heart of Toronto on August 17, that attracted a massive crowd. Check out some pics of his performance below. All photos by Roy Virtue.

One more thing! Our mission at ByBlacks is to provide positive and uplifting stories that reflect our Black Canadian community. Unlike other media platforms, we have always rejected the pay for play model.
