Black Moms Connection is a community of black mothers who share, network and connect. BMC started with 20 mothers in the Greater Toronto Area in 2015 and has grown to almost 7,000 members worldwide. The majority of members are in Canada, with the rest residing in the United States, Africa, Asia , UK, and the Caribbean. From navigating the education system to mental and physical wellness, Black mothers from across the city and country will unite and have the opportunity to engage with one another and learn from dynamic speakers.

There will be over 200 women in person and thousands online via social media live streaming. The effects are far-reaching because to empower black mothers means to positively impact the community and the world.

Featured guests and speakers include MP Celina Caesar-Chavannes, award-winning author and activist Feminista Jones , TDSB Trustee Tiffany Ford, and CEO of Alabaster Wellness Clinic Dr. Nadine Wong. The second fireside chat will be with Bunmi Latidan, NYT-bestselling author and voice behind the widely popular ‘Honest Toddler.’
