(MEDIA RELASE) The Black, Indigenous and People of Colour in Film & TV organization is inviting community members to share their stories this weekend in a closed-door discussion.

Have you felt the brunt of racism or microaggressions at work? Have you been the only non-white person at your job or industry event? Have you ever experienced racism, microaggressions, and isolation/tokenism, in addition to gender or sexuality-based violence and harassment while working in the TV and film industry?

Know that you are not alone. Join us for a closed-door moderated discussion sharing stories of issues you’ve faced as Black, Indigenous and/or Person of Colour working in the TV & film industry.

  • Suggested donation: $10-20

    * Share your stories of struggle in a safer space

    * All stories will remain confidential

    * No social media or recording allowed

    * Please note that you may be triggered by hearing other’s stories. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide professional counsellors.

    * BIPOC TV & Film will be taking notes so we can follow up with appropriate industry organizations

    * Registration limited to 25 people. RSVP to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

    * Once you register, you will be sent a short 3-pt questionnaire to prepare
