    The laureates of the 2018 Premier's Awards for Excellence in the Arts have beenannounced.

    QUEEN’S PARK — Official Opposition Leader Andrea Horwath and the NDP caucus announced the official formation of the NDP Black Caucus – Ontario’s first formal Black caucus in a political party.

    Recognized by the Learning Partnership as one of Canada’s 30 outstanding principals; Nova Scotian native Karen Hudson is the leading force behind Auburn Drive High School’s Afrocentric cohort. It’s a program that consists of the standard Canadian curriculum, with a twist.

    For 32 years over 50,000 children have competed in the Spelling Bee of Canada.
