Briefly describe the relationship with your father.

Strained, and awkward at best. We barely communicate and at times we have not spoken for years at a time. I'm not currently not communicating or engaging with him. It's the best choice for me given everything.

How has this shaped the relationship with your children?

It has given me the opportunity to focus on how and why I want to be a father, as well as who I am as dad, husband and man.

What do you enjoy the most about being a dad?

Getting tight hugs around the neck from my son when I pick him up from school.
