    This is the story of a black girl.

    In 1974, after Huey P. Newton fled to Cuba for the alleged murder of Kathleen Smith, Elaine Brown was appointed the leader of the Black Panther Party.

    For thirteen years Brad fought for an all - white Canada.  He rose through the ranks of the white supremacy movement to become president of an international racist group called Volksfront.

    These little girls have appeared in a variety of national and international commercials, films and television series. They are the LeBlanc sisters, Jaeda (11 years old) and Yvanna-Rose (9 years old), originally from Toronto but living in Ottawa for the last few years.

    On September 13th, “Legacies of Race” night at the 2017 CaribbeanTales International Film Festival (CTFF) will offer a glimpse into the complex social structures of Trinidad and Tobago and the Bahamas.

    Last February, Melissa Toussaint got her break in acting when she landed her first television role in the American drama series, ‘Quantico.’

    Bee Nation follows six Aboriginal children, ages 10 to 14, and their life-changing experience participating in the first-ever First Nations Provincial Spelling Bee (FNPSB) in Saskatchewan, and the first of its kind in all of Canada.

    Originally released in 1992, Black to the Promised Land follows a group of students from Brooklyn, New York all the way to Israel and back.

    Babe, I Hate to Go is a short film about a 51-year-old Jamaican migrant worker who leaves home each year for periods of six months or more to work on an Ontario tobacco farm.
