ByBlacks Rating: BBB The Front Room is a Jamaican play written by Aston Cooke and produced by Marcia Brown.

After 5 years off the theatre stage pursuing a career in film and television performance, I came to the InspiraTO Festival as an actor in the Blue Show installation of Last Night at the Paradise, a ten minute show written by Elektra and directed by Annemieke Wade.

Jemeni (born Joanne Gairy) is likely best known as the other half of Mark & Jem In The Morning, a punchy morning radio show on G987FM. But Jem is also a spirited spoken-word artist, actress, and activist.

Shakespeares’ Niggas, Beatdown, Born Ready, Pusha-Man...sound familiar? These are some of the plays written by Trinidadian born Joseph Jomo Pierre. His plays have been produced by Obsidian Theatre company, and now Jomo has co-written a piece based on Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist, aptly titled Twisted.

Awarding-winning Gospel Artist Alan Charles’ hit UK comedy stage play Love, Sax and All That Jazz is coming to Toronto.
