    Profiles

Ricky Neckles is a Grenadian-born Canadian entrepreneur, mechanical engineer, software developer, public speaker and community servant.

Dance wasn’t something Tamina Pollack-Paris had to fall in love with, it found her and the two grew in harmony.

She’s complex, jarring at times, expressive but shy, and happens to be a writer, actor, director, educator, executive director, wife, and a business owner.

The fact that we are able to celebrate Black History Month, is due in large part to the efforts of The Honourable Jean Augustine.

Trey Anthony is using her creative expertise to share the stories of Black women and train the next generation of Canadian writers.

Toronto’s hottest new lifestyle publication, HOLR Magazine, is redefining the print landscape in Canada. The chic bi-monthly mag brings readers across the country the latest in style, entertainment, health, love and so much more. HOLR’s most recent issue features one of the music industry’s newest up and coming "it" girls, V. Bozeman on the cover.

Tamla Matthews is a recognized dance artist, director, entrepreneur and educator in the Canadian arts community. Over the past two decades, she has used her exceptional talent and passion for dance to uplift African and Caribbean communities in Toronto.

Sean Mauricette has many titles to his name, some of which include actor, producer, musician, and public speaker. He’s now adding author to the list, but he readily admits it was by no intentional plan… and shares how he became a sort of accidental author.

With the release of her debut album, He's All Around, Marinda Kikanke, otherwise known by her stage name, Zion, is on fire!

Joel Ien is a life-long educator who has worked as a teacher, principal and professor at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. If the surname "Ien" sounds familiar, it’s probably because you've seen Joel's daughter, Marci, on TV. Marci is a co-host on CTV's Canada AM and occasionally an anchor for CTV National News.
